Stanley’s an introject from The Stanley Parable, specifically from a series someone made. Likes posting weird and absurd things relating to his source, so if you see TSP stuff (or random trope dissections) on here, that’s probably from him.

Others you may see pop onto the blog include Nel/TK, Monika, and Zim.

DNI zoophiles, pedos, creeps, etc- you know the drill.

Hopping in to add: this also works for teens and adults when they're learning a new language.

I taught English as foreign language to adults for around 15 years. With beginners, once I was sure they knew the basic vocabulary (table, chair, desk, wall, floor, ceiling, door, window, pen, pencil, eraser, lights), I would go around the room like:

Me [pointing at the wall]: it's a table.

Adults: Noooo, it's a wall!

Me [looking confused, pointing more vehemently at the wall]: Table!

Adults: NOOOOO, wall!!!

Like, I had literal company executives, who went to class in full suits, giggling like school children with what has to be the silliest game ever.

We're all children when we're learning a new language XD.

Captions shouldn't be censored. If the video says fuck or cum or cunt the captions should say the fucking word.

If they say a slur in the video, the captions should reflect it. The disabled are not little babies who have to have life sanitized for them.

Here's how it works when subtitles are done properly:

Audio: Let's BEEP go!
Subtitle: Let's (censor tone) go!

Audio: Let's fucking go!
Subtitle: Let's fucking go!

Removing swears and slurs from the subtitles without removing it from the audio is implying that deaf/HoH people need babying, unlike their hearing friends and family sitting right next to them. Which is frustrating.

The point of subtitles is to give the same experience to everyone watching, regardless of ability—not to be a more palatable version of what's being said.

Some "Did you know"s about AO3 tags from a tag wrangler volunteer

It takes 3 unique identifiable users (no anons, no unidentified orphans) for a fandom-specific freeform tag to be canonized.
Relationship tags are primarily alphabetized by last name.
If you see that something like "- Freeform" or "- Character" has been added automatically to a tag you used, it means it exists in another category already.
If you use a tag that is marked as a subtag of another tag, it will show up in the search for the metatag as well - so if you tag "Hybrid TommyInnit (Video Blogging RPF)" it will automatically show up in "Hybrids"!
Many larger fandoms have tags show up in odd places because certain fandoms are used as holding bins. For example you may see MCYT tags in 30 Day SMP | Free Trial SMP as we use it as our collective bin for tags we can't do anything with.
You don't have to use the canonical tag for something if you don't want to. You can tag "BadBoyHalo" and it will still show up under "Darryl Noveschosch | BadBoyHalo" as tag wranglers connect tags together.
You can report issues with tags by submitting a support ticket using the "Technical Support & Feedback" button on the bottom of any AO3 page.
